Interest in automation at cryogenic temperatures, down to -196°C, has reached unprecedented levels. As an industry leader in automated sample handling solutions for over 25 years, LiCONiC has responded with a fully automated liquid nitrogen vapor phase (LN2) cryostorage solution, capable of scaling to meet growing capacity needs.

The STV series was first implemented in 2013 for a large-scale cohort study, handling daily sample inputs calculated in the thousands. This technology is also suitable for smaller applications, managing collections of fewer than 50,000 samples. Consistent with the "built-to-order" BiOLiX Bio-Libraries concept, LiCONiC offers an industry-leading solution capable of meeting the evolving demands of automated storage, ensuring the safety and integrity of samples at cryogenic temperatures.
